(burgerville.com) – NE Portland, Oregon (near Lloyd Center)
How I heard of this place: When I was in High School, a carload of friends and I were on our way to Portland for the Regional Basketball Finals. My carload of friends were eager to have one of the best burgers around, and I was game. So we ate it. And I come back every so often to eat it, again. And again.
Type of cuisine: Burgers and fries. According to the Burgerville website they are also Fresh. Local. Sustainable.
Ambiance: Fast food restaurant with order counter and plenty of seating throughout the establishment.
Booth seating as well as chair/table seating is available, as well as combinations of the two.
Fluorescent lights and natural lighting surround the space.
What I ordered: For me, the Pepper Bacon Cheeseburger ($6.29) with a side of large fries (to share) and a small Mocha Perk Milkshake ($3.79). For my husband, the Tillamook Cheeseburger ($4.59), Walla Walla Sweet Onion Fries ($5.85 for five rings), and a large Mint & Oreo Cookies Milkshake ($4.69)
What I loved: I love the Tillamook cheddar cheese on my burger the best!
The perfectly crispy and soft sweet onion in the Onion Rings.
Why I loved it: The burgers were slightly smaller than I remember them to be, but tasty nonetheless.
Cost: Average ($5 per burger, no sides included)
