How I heard of this place: Through my friend Richard who introduced me to the only cheesemonger found between downtown Seattle and Bellingham.
Type of cuisine: A cheese shop – sample and buy numerous cheeses from all over – locally and imported.
Ambiance: Cheese galore! Salumi cured meats also available. Olives, jams, biscuits, crackers and other vehicles for the cheese available.
What I ordered: Sadly, we left empty-handed, with plans to return when we need a variety of fancy and delicious varieties of cheese.
What I loved: Samples aplenty!
Why I loved it: The selection is amazing! Strom, the cheesemonger is knowledgeable and helpful in offering suggestions and samples. So many ways to make your cheese experience fabulous!
Cost: Average for a cheesemonger, high compared to grocery store prices.
