How I heard of this place: Oprah. Don’t tell me you haven’t heard of Oprah’s favorite Seattle-based fried chicken?
Type of cuisine: Southern fried chicken and fixin’s.
Ambiance: Grab ‘n go. No seating available at this location. Order at the counter and the food is boxed up for you, bagged and ready to eat!
What I ordered: We ordered two 2-piece white meat chicken dinners ($6.95 each), one original and one spicy. Each came with a side order of coleslaw, one or two biscuits (each dinner was different, but we are not sure why) and a choice of a second side including: potato salad, mashed potatoes & gravy, baked beans. I needed the mashed potatoes and gravy and my dining companion ordered the potato salad.
What I loved: It’s all about the spicy chicken.
Why I loved it: The food, from what I hear is consistently great. I loved the quick pick-up and cost for the amount of food being given. We loved the delicious sides accompanying the you-can-go-wrong fried chicken.
Cost: Low to average ($6-$10 for individual 2-4 piece meal; family sized meals available for around $16)
