How I heard of this place: I was invited to join a group of mom’s at the Country Village Shops to see the reindeer and spend the afternoon together. While wandering around the cute selection of shops in the village, the rain started to pour and we happened upon this quaint cafe.

Type of cuisine: Pastries and espresso beverages to warm any patron on this rainy, cold day.

Ambiance: A whimsical space, from floor to ceiling,

with tasteful and simple decoration, including a display of mugs at the condiment table,

hardwood floors and cozy seating in lounge style, cushy chairs,

a sweet bussing area with tiny photo tree,

and a corner nook for window seating.

What I ordered: A quick trip in, I shared a hot chocolate with my little one, as he quickly devoured his gingersnap cookie.

What I loved: The smallest bite of cookie I could arrange to sample was delicious and just what I needed on a rainy, cold winter morning.

Why I loved it: A great, little nook in the Country Village Shops, allowing a large group of friends to enjoy a small reprieve from the winter outside.

Cost: Average
