Haagen Dazs Outdoor Line

How I heard of this place: We walk the boardwalk at Downtown Disney. We see ice cream. We eat it. But I first ventured in to a Häagen Dazs over 20 years ago when a friend in London wanted to treat me to a fabulous sundae. He forgot his wallet. We still enjoyed the tasty sundae.

Haagen Dazs Indoor Line

Type of cuisine: Ice cream treats. “Indulge in irresistible creations made with premium Häagen-Dazs ice cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet. Go for a classic hot fudge sundae or signature 3-scoop Dazzler frozen dessert, or create your own with our many flavors and toppings.

Ambiance: A walk-up order counter and pick-up at the far end, no indoor seating, and a line out the door. Maybe it’s a Southern California thing at 10:00 p.m.? Maybe it’s a Disney thing? Either way, it’s a Häagen-Dazs thing.

What I ordered: My sisters and I shared the limited edition Peppermint Bark Sundae.

What I loved: The crumbly bits of dark chocolate peppermint lacing the layers of ice cream.
Why I loved it: An evening out with my sisters, enjoying ice cream as we watched the Disneyland fireworks can’t be beat!

Cost: High ($8.25 for the sundae)
