(harbourinn.com) – St. Michaels, Maryland
How I heard of this place: We were in search of a weekend getaway in St. Michaels without paying an arm and a leg for our accommodations. This one came highly recommended on Trip Advisor and became our new favorite diggs in St. Michaels.
Type of cuisine: Continental breakfast Mondays and Tuesdays including English muffins, bagels and toast, three types of cereal and oatmeal, as well as mini Sunday offerings of danishes, mini muffins and coffee & tea.
Ambiance: The Seahorse room is a quaint room, reminiscent of a hardwood floor, windowed bungalow overlooking the Miles River off of Eastern Bay.
Tall tables and backed bar chairs are available for seating at any of four to six settings while enjoying a miniature continental breakfast of danishes, mini muffins and coffee & tea.
What I ordered: I partook of two danishes: one raspberry and one apple turnover with my rich and creamy hot cocoa, while awaiting my brunch companions’ arrival.
What I loved: The raspberry danish. Buttery, flaky and raspberry yummy!
Why I loved it: It’s a scenic, serene space from which to enjoy a sweet bite and hot beverage.
Cost: Included in the cost of a guests stay.
